((I'm afraid Snapper, I must butt in here but there are a few things that have come to my attention. It is impossible for even a human being to be slung over a very large wall that is atleast twice your size and is many feet away. That is not realistic at all, expecially when it's on ground level. Maybe if it was from a hill higher than the abbey I'd consider it being realistic but you can't just sling a humongous turtle over a wall expeciually when watermelons only hit the wall and didn't even get into the abbey. Also, all the abbey beasts except for Muramin are inside the abbey at this moment so there is no mice for you to kill on the battlements))

*A mouse in the back of the crowd slowly raises his hand and clears his throat, breaking the silence "Um, Miss Nanalie marm? What do you want those able and ready to fight to do? Is there anything we can do other than stand here and wait because there is no way I, or most likely any other beast, can sit here while our Abbey is about to be taken over waiting for the moles to do thier work. Is thier any guarding, spying, fighting or anything for us to do?"

*Nanalie glances over to the mouse that spoke up, noticing him for the first time* Well..right now there isn't much we can do without getting killed. It seems like we're surrounded and the windows are definately being watched. Be patient. Our time will come soon. *Nanalie looks around at the rest of the redwallers. All of them are munching on some berries from the kitchens, regaining their energy. The moles and the weaker redwallers are gone, heading underground to somewhere safe. Nanalie turned to the other hole, and the badger and moles had just disappeared deeper into the ground.* Alright everybody, there are about 50 of us right here. split into groups of 5. Go through the seperate corridors that the moles have dug up but stay close to the main one. You'll be be able to tell what it is if you watch where the badger follows. Keep as quiet as you can and spread out. The element of surprise is crucial here. My group will go the closest to the end hole. *Nanalie picks out 4 of the strongest looking beasts to accompany her, most of them wielding swords and spears. She picks out 5 trusty archers to stay nearest to the abbey. The rest split themselves up and choose different corriders to stake out in the growing underground maze.*
*The moles finally come to the roots of mossflower wood and they listen closely to the patting of the vermin feet and the vermin breathing above them. They dig around to where they hear the least amount of noise and dig open up their hole to the ground above. Their keen senses serve them right and the hole opens right where one of the vermin was taking cover. The badger runs forward with her sword and swings at the vermin*

**The Stoat, who is midway up a tree, screams in terror as the hulking badger lumbers towards him. In a spasm of pure fear, he throws his body back further into the tree, which saves his life, as the first slice of the Badger fells a branch of the tree instead of the stoat himself. He had already had an arrow on his bow for firing at the abbey, and he swings the bow around, fring the high powered crossbow directly into the Badger's neck. Meanwhile, All the other vermin in the trees hear his screams. The hole that the badger came out of is quickly clogged with arrows from all directions, as are the redwallers who are coming out of it.**
Duckflesh: They're coming out of holes in the ground! Climb higher into your trees and prepare to shoot them as they exit their tunnels!
**Duckflesh himself carefuly backs against a tree, his guards with him at all times, as the archers in the trees aim their bows at clear spots between trees that the moles are likely to tunnel out of. Mock tunder ripples through the air as three more flaming projectiles feed the inferno that is Redwall**

OOC: The Slingshot is a good distance away. We through fruit at a way that one time so it would be like that. Some times its better to restrict power. WE MADE IT SO THE FRUIT WOULD HIT THE HALL, WE DIDN"T WANT IT INSIDE. EVER ThINK OF THAT, HM? ITS LIKE EGGING A PLACE EXCEPT WITH FRUIT. THE TURTLE WAS LAUNCHED ALL THE WAY FROM THE FARTHEST POINT OF THE VERMIN CAMP, SINCE IT WENT BACK TO BE LAUNCHED. SO

OOC: ALSO, IT WENT JUST UNDER THE BATTLEMENTS, THROUGH THE WALL THERE. SO IT'D BE BEyOND THE BATTLEMENTS WITHOUT LANDING ON THEM.

((Ok I'm gonna lay down the facts here.
1. The sling shot, which may be big, is at ground level because there is no way that Snapper can float in the air.
2. With such a big sling shot, you can't really aim how far things go. If you slacken, trying to get whatever object being slung to not go as far, it won't go anywhere. You can't adjust how low the sling is pulled down as you could with something in your hand.
3. With that in mind, The watermelon hit the wall. Mattissa, which is bigger, landed a bit further away from the abbey. You, following suit, would land even further from the abbey than Mattissa.
4. You yourself said that Snapper could go up to 20 feet. Redwall is MUCH further away than 20 feet or else we would be able to see your camp and watch what you guys are doing.
5. If you want to get in so badly, just go up the wall like that stoat did for goodness sakes. If you don't, I'm not going to recognize you in the abbey at all. None of the redwallers you kill will count. Unless the Abbess says otherwise, and then I will take it up with her. And none of the redwallers you supposedly killed were there. ))

((eep the redwallers are still in the underground maze and the moles didn't come out, only the badger, sorry for the confusion.))
*The Badger, leaping backinto the hole, dodges the arrow, only to jump in the path of another arrow, which lands squarely in her fighting hand. She screams in pain. Rushing to get into the hole, an arrow pierces her shoulder and another, her ear. The final arrow lodges itself squarely in her back and she tumbles to the dirt floor.*
*She turns to the moles who line the corrider and breathlessly says* This isn't...going...to work..*Her body collapses and she falls into unconciousness.* Nanalie jumps out of her hiding space.* Ah... Let's get out of here. 5 of you carry the badger. Maybe we can catch of with the rest of the redwallers.* Everybody hurries down the corridors, calling to the others hiding. Finally all of them make it back into the abbey where it's almost impossible to see through all the smoke. They find the hole and travel down it. The moles cover up the path as they go.*

**Duckflesh coughs slightly, the smoke starting to pour over the walls of the abbey. He picks up a bugel and blows on a loudly, then tosses it aside.**
...look at the smoke... they're either dead or dying. We wait an hour, then we go in. Keep your bows on the exits of the abbey, but also make sure no more beasts tunnel out.

Muramin, moving close to the wall and hunkering down to get out of the little smoke comming from over the walls. Upon hearing the vermin shout, she muttered a curse and set down her bow. She pulled the knot that held her quiver to her, letting it fall away from her form, and set it down beside the bow in the corner of the courtyard.
"Sleep well, my bow... I doubt you will see much in the next few hours..."
Her bow set aside, she drew out both of her Tai Ji, holding them with reverse grips in her paws. Now all she had to do was wait, and hope that she could fill the main gate with a sufficient number of dead beasts to stem their flow before she fell under them.
(( As you didn't use a trebuchet, I don't think you'd have made the distance... Heck, a catapaulta would have been atleast semi-feasible... ))

((Snapper, just try to find another means of getting in, like climb or just use the catpault Muramin was talking about. It's just doesn't make any sence))

*The group almost reaches their destination when Nanalie stops in her tracks.* Oh no.. *A hare standing by her looks questioningly* Wot wot?*Nanalie shakes her head. We left that archer there to die! We have to go back and help!*to herself she mutters, i'm so stupid*You guys*gesturing to the badger carriers* keep going.
*The rest of the moles look at each other, a bit upset that they have to now dig the hole they just undug.* Everybody who wants to keep going to catch of the rest can. I'm going to help save Redwalll, even if it means my death.*The redwallers look at each other. "this is just too crazy" one of them mutters.*Can some of you moles dig up that up?*Nanalie asks*The moles get to work and dig as fast as they can. Soon all redwallers were jogging at a steady pace towards the abbey*
*In the abbey, the smoke was heavier than before. The redwallers came out of the hole coughing.* Don't worry, the fire will soon die down. Theres hardly anything left for it to burn * Nanalie said reassuringly* Hey, can you dig us out of here? so we can look for that goodbeast we left here?* The moles nod This is gurt practice fer moi diggin clawson of them says.*
*Soon a hole is dug leading out into the abbey. The redwallers pour out into the somewhat cleaner air.* Ok everybody*Nanalie whispers*Let's form a line leading from the fire down the hole and into the kitchens where the water is. We might be able to get this fire out if we work quickly enough. Keep your weapons handy at all times!* The redwallers follow their orders and are soon dropping pail after pail of water on the fire.*

**Moving with amazing swiftness and silence, two weasels, garbed entirely in black studded leather and covered with assortments of blades, grapple up the walls of the Abbey. They perch on the battlements and gaze over the scorched courtyard, checking every corner for survivng redwallers, creeping along the walls like ghosts in the gathering darkness of the coming night. The fire is still large, fallen trees providing more than enough wood to burn for quite some time.**

*Jimble the squirrel, Nanalies friend, has wandered up in the trees to see whats going on at redwall. He saw smoke and began to get worried. Hopping silently through the trees, he notices a vermin horde hiding up ahead.*Oi, this cant be good* He climbs up higher and hides himself in the leaves. *Well, their vermin, redwalls in trouble, probably their fault.*He notches his arrow and pulls back. He aims at a vermin beast in the trees a bit up ahead and lets the arrow fly. quickly, he changes position and gets ready to fire another*

*A cloaked figure appears out of nowhere in front of the weasels. It unsheats a sword and starts to slash at the two vermin infiltrators, attempting to knock them off of the wall*
(If you have any questions as to how the heck I pulled that off, IM me. It's a legit move, though...)
