*Taln leans back and decides to shift the topic to a more friendlier topic.*
If you don't mind...could you tell me some more about yourself?
Muramin smiled slightly.
"What would you like to know?"
"Whatever you're comfortable telling me..."
"Well, it all depends on what you ask..."
"Where was the place you most called home?"
"Most called... That's hard to say, having been so long away from the land of my birth..."
"Which was..."
"A forest; far, far from here... Many days by sea..."
"Ah..."
"And what of yourself?"
"What about myself?"
Muramin nods.
"Home for me is an island far from here, from where I was called to here. And I was born quite near here, actually."
Muramin nodded.
"We... The ship I was on... Passed many islands before it was destroyed..."
"Oh...Did you have family on the ship?"
Muramin shook her head.
"No family..."
"Did you know your family?"
Muramin shook her head.
"Not well..."
"Be glad you knew who they were."
Muramin shrugged.
"I am not sure whether that is true or not..."
"Seems like it to me."
*Taln sighed*
"I never knew my family. I was taken from them when I was a babe. Taken in by the marlfoxes, I was raised and trained by them."
Muramin nodded.
"That would explain skills that did not seem to suited for your ilk..."
"Aye. I learned much, but I felt obviously out of place. I usually stayed to myself, most of the hordebeasts didn't even know I existed."
Muramin smiled.
"A good thing... I tended to draw too much attention... I'd wager half of the camp would have sooner put a blade between my ribs 'ere chew on a piece of dried meat..."
"I take it you were in a horde as I was."
Muramin nodded.
"Aye, as one meant to pass information... But since the change of power, unstability has taken hold... Their new leader is no where near acceptable even for a small number..."
"So you deserted."
"More or less... Defected is the proper term..."
*Taln hears an eagle's screech and stands*
"Well, I've got some matters to attend to, so if you'll excuse me"
*he bows*
"Nice to talk with you."
Muramin nodded and rose from the chair.
"It was a pleasure... Perhaps again, some time?"
"Perhaps."
*Taln nods and walks down the hallway.*
Muramin would turn, walking the other way down the hall, to carry on with some business of her own.
