Yeah, I've noticed that, too--the story does run a little more smoothly without the suggestions of human existance, but it was kind of interesting, nonetheless.

Oh Oh Oh, everyone has to read the Merlin books by T. A. Barron, and the Hermux Tantamoq Adventures by Michael Hoeye, those are two of my all time absolute favorite books ever. Barron writes a lot of things, but his best stuff is the Merlin books, The Lost Years of Merlin, Seven Songs of... ,The Fires of... ,The Mirror of... and The Wings of... (All of them end with Merlin btw) All are the best books. So, well, try them out some time. And the Hermux books are called, Time Stops for No Mouse. and The Sands of Time

Nope, haven't read any of those. I read The Once and Future King, that has Merlin in it, it's quite good.

I've read Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. That has to do with the whole king Arthur legend, but it's from the women's perspective. It's long, but I liked it alot.

The thing that is great about the Merlin books I mentioned is that they are about the years before he was the great magician, because of all the old books written about him no one ever mentioned how he became a mage or where he ws from and stuff, so basically it is him finding out his future through his past, so confusing but cool. In the books he is about... 20 or so I would guess. He doesn't have a beard yet!

As I recall, that's because Merlyn supposedly was living his life backwards... -= chuckles =- Born after time and doomed to die as it all starts...

Yeah, why wont you tell us your name? its not as if we will look you up and come to your house at night and slaughter you, if that ever did happen, i would expect it to happen in the opposite way, you hunting us down, so you should tell us your name. Like I said, mine's Kay, Kathy, or anything else that people call me. Kathy, ick, its like some 50s name, the only other Kathy's I know are at least 50, and at least you weren't named after a doll (you know those old "Chatty Cathy" dolls? oi, they also have red hair so I was predestined to have a horrible name sinse I was born. oi)

My favorite would have to be Martin the Warrior (even though it is sad).
